Good Saturday to you, Bill. Praying that you were blessed with a refreshing Spring Break and are being blessed with signs of spring. Over here, we had a fruitful Bible study focusing on the Second Coming of Christ. Do you have any favorite passages on that theme? We especially looked at 1 John 3:1-3, and Titus 2:11-14. It's very exciting that, at 87, I can still read my Bible, and lots of other things, without glasses! How are your eyes doing? I pray that all is well with your eyes...and, actually with your whole self! Over here, regular Physical therapy is strengthening my arms and legs, improving my balance and increasing my stamina. Its quite remarkable, and I am very grateful. They will check the "battery life" remaining on my pacemaker later this month...It's been helping my heart remain stable since August 22, 2016, and a battery lasts 10 years, I've been told. Hi Bill, Specially thinking of you and your family as we come to Easter Sunday. Rejoicing with you in the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wonderful Bible Study with some of my lady friends this week, focusing on what Grandpa always called: "The Great Week." So very much to learn from what Jesus chose to do during "The Great Week!". To me, a wide open, Heavenly blue morning glory represents the Open-to-the -Son-shine life God enables us to live through our Risen Lord. Did you have school vacation this past week? So that you had Good Friday off? Grandma usually went for a long, solitary drive on Good Friday...It's wonderful that you, and I, have been to the Holy Land and can visualize, from personal memory, many places where Jesus walked. On Saturday, the first of April, Good Morning Bill...and Madhvi, Aaron and Sharon. Hoping that each of you and all of you are keeping well and looking forward to worshipping on Palm Sunday tomorrow. Wonderful, Bill, that you and I have been blessed to have been on the Mount of Olives, overlooking Jerusalem. So that our memory gives us a personal "feel" for the setting of the events of Palm Sunday...I made a chart of the events of the "Great Week," as grandpa called it. We looked up Scripture for each day at the bi-weekly Thursday Bible study that I lead. "I never knew THAT!" exclaimed one of the ladies! referring to the veil of the temple having been ripped from top to bottom when Jesus was crucified! Direct access to the Heavenly Father, given through the death and Resurrection of Christ! "...no man can come to the Father, but by Me," said Jesus. (John 14:6b) Spiritually, these are exciting days, leading up to and, of course, including Easter...
