Nice to "see" you again, my "walking with Jesus" friend. Guess what...Jesus is taking on some old ways of thinking, challenging folks to think more deeply, to get a new perspective. Let's listen:  Jesus said, "Of old time, it was said,'You shall not murder', and whoever commits murder will be in danger of the judgement.*BUT I SAY that whoever is angry with his brother without cause, shall be in danger of the judgement. And whoever speaks insultingly to his brother shall be in danger of sanctions by the Council. But, finally, whoever curses his brother, who also has been made in the image of God, is in danger of hell fire.* So, cool your jets...and if you come to the altar to give a gift, and wake up to the fact that your brother has something against you, do this: Set aside your gift. Go and be reconciled to your brother, and THEN come back and present your gift. Your heart needs to be free from anger and malice before God. Forgiveness and peace are...

Good Mothers's Day morning, my "walking" with Jesus friend.  Today, let us give thanks for the mother who birthed us, for the moms, and mom-persons, grand moms, aunts, spiritual and surrogate mom-persons who raised us, counseled us, held our hands, comforted our hearts and cleared our minds from cobwebs so we could fly straight. Lord God Almighty, we are grateful for all the ways You have provided for and protected us through our Moms and the Mom-persons in our lives. Bless the memories of those moms who have passed on. Be with every mom who needs healing, comfort, Holy Spirit Counsel and/or a touch from Heaven.  We pray and ask in the mighty name of our Risen and Coming again Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen
