Excited, now, to get back to Romans 11, my "walking with Jesus" friend. The Apostle Paul wants us to seek to understand the outlook God has about the Jewish people as to their acceptance, and/or denial of Christ. He writes: " I want you to understand this mystery, dear Gentile brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud and start bragging. We realize that some Jews have hard hearts, but this will only last until the complete number of Gentiles comes to Christ. And THEN all Israel will be saved. Do you remember what the prophets said about this? "A Deliverer will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel from all ungodliness. And THEN will I keep my covenant with them and take away their sins, says the Lord "(Isaiah 59:20-21)
As of now, many of the Jews are enemies of God. But this has been to your benefit, for God has given His gifts to you Gentiles."(Romans 11:25-28a) Let us highly value the gifts of the LORD:" Love JOY. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. And Self-control."(Galatians 5:22) Let's walk with the Lord, my friend.
