"OH! Now I see! GOD REALLY LOVES ME!" Her little face was one BIG smile. She was running round and round between the chairs. The red balloon she was holding followed her everywhere. When Maria had first come to Bible Club, she had been shy and quiet. She listened carefully but said very little. But NOW, MARIA had been transformed! Our Bible story today had been about how Jesus showed his love and power in healing blind Bartemaeus (Mark 10:46-52) We sang, 🎶Jesus loves me.🎶 We invited each child to ask Jesus, by His Spirit, to live in his/her heart. To be their forever friend. To bring his LOVE, to heal eyes, hands, feet and any hurting in your heart. Ask Him now, we invited, and suddenly Maria was standing beside me. I want Jesus in my heart, NOW," she announced. We prayed together. Her face glowed. She grabbed the red balloon and...and ever after she sang the loudest, shouted the longest and laughed the most. Coming to realize and to personally accept the mighty love of God in Christ, transformed Maria. And it can transform you, me, the sad neighbor, the lonely mom, the hard working man, the scared little boy, the harsh, rough guy at the fast food place! Miracles by Christ: 37 of them, are recorded in the Gospels. Their message of the Love of God is still transforming lives! Read the Gospel record of the love of God.
