Well, my walking with Jesus" friend, today we find the Apostle Paul writing: "I am using the illustration of slaves and masters because it is easy to understand. Before you came to Christ, your life was full of impurity and lawlessness because, sadly, you had chosen to be a slave to sin. But NOW, in Christ, you have wonderfully CHOSEN to become, as it were, a slave to the Lord and His Righteousness, so that you will become pure/ Holy in the sight of the Lord. Do you realize that, in the past, when you were a slave to various sins and worldly lusts, you were not in the least concerned about doing what was right? And what was the result of that wrong thinking and sinful actions? NOT GOOD. Now it's clear that the consequences of sin is spiritual death and eternal separation from God. Yikes! Who wants that tragic outcome? "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is Eternal Life through JESUS CHRIST." (Romans 6:19-23) Choose LIFE IN CHRIST.
