The Apostle Paul writes to the Romans: "Dear Believers, since we have been united with Christ in his death, through believing and bring baptized, we will also be raised as he was. Our old, sinful selves were, symbolically crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we "died"[by baptism] with Christ, and then raised up, as Christ was raised, [you know what?] WE WERE set free from the power of sin. God through Christ Jesus!"(Romans 6:5-11) Let's rejoice to have been set free from sin and to be enabled, through Jesus Christ and His Resurrection Power active in us, to live for the glory of God, my friend.
