Here we go, my "walking with Jesus" friend. The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ had reached Rome by 60 AD. But the Apostle Paul had not been there yet. So he was concerned to communicate, in the fullest possible way, the complete message of the Gospel, desiring to make sure that Believers accurately understood not just the message of the Lord, but, most especially that they actively APPLIED that message to their lives. So, he wisely begins his letters by stating his credentials: "Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be. And apostle, separated unto the Gospel of God, which He had promised by His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh; and declared to be the Son of God with POWER, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection of the dead. By whom WE have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the Faith among all nations, for his name.
