What came first was the natural body, THEN, the spiritual body comes later. Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. Every human being has an earthly body, just like Adam's, but, rejoice, my brothers and sisters in Christ [ my "walking with Jesus" friend] at the appointed time, we will receive bodies that are heavenly, like the Heavenly body of Christ, the Son of God from Heaven. What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is this: flesh and blood can not inherit the Kingdom of God. These perishable bodies are not able to live forever. But God has given us a wonderful revelation: Not all of us will die, BUT we WILL all be TRANSFORMED! Yes, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, when the last trumpet sounds, Believers who have died will be raised with transformed bodies. And then we who are alive will be transformed so that we will never die."(1 Corinthians 15:45-51)Living with THAT confident expectation transforms THIS life, as we look steadily to the Lord.
