Back in Corinth, the brothers and sisters continue to read their first letter from the Apostle Paul. "You heard our careful preaching, brethren, that Christ ROSE from the dead and appeared to the disciples, to 500 brethren at a time, and lastly, the Risen Christ did appear to me. With ALL that clear teaching and testimony, why are some of you saying that "there is no resurrection of the dead?" Please, think about it this way: IF there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised, and you are still under condemnation for your sins. BUT, as surely as I came to you, shared my testimony and preached Christ RISEN, Christ IS RISEN from the dead. And He has become, by the power of God, the FIRST of a great harvest of Believers who WILL BE RAISED to life again." I encourage you to Rejoice that Christ IS risen, and that some day all who Believe, but have "fallen asleep," will be raised, meet Christ in the air, and will thereafter always be Risen and be with the Risen Lord." Let's live for our Risen Lord and be filled with the confident assurance that, as Believers, we WILL someday also be risen with Christ, my friend.
