Let's move on now, my "walking with Jesus" friend, into 1 Corinthians 4:1-5. The question arises: Who has the right to evaluate someone's work?Paul writes: "So, please look at Apollos and me as just servants of Christ who have been given the responsibility of explaining the salvation of God through Christ. Now, a person who is responsible for something must be faithful. Well, it matters very little what you or anyone else thinks, I don't even trust my own judgement on this point. My conscience is clear, but THAT is not what matters. It is the Lord Himself who will examine my work and decide. So, be careful not to jump to conclusions before the Lord returns as to whether or not someone is faithful. When the Lord comes, he will bring our deepest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. And THEN GOD will give to each one whatever reward they have earned." So, whatever
responsibilities the Lord gives you or me, let us be faithful. "For the eyes off the Lord roam to and fro throughout the whole earth seeking to strengthen the hearts of those who are fully committed to Him. (2Chronicles 16:9)
