More than thirty very specific prophecies about the Messiah/the Savior had been given by God in the Jewish scriptures, my " walking with Jesus friend. And Paul pointed out, three Sabbaths in a row, how that Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled each one...perfectly and IS the Messiah. The minds of many were open to consider the facts and find salvation. But the minds of others, especially of the Jewish leaders, we're locked into their doctrines, laws, rules and practices. They were upset to have "their" practices challenged. Scheming to do away with Paul, they stirred up a crowd, paid some to make accusations, and stormed the home of a Believer named Jason, where they thought Paul was staying. Not finding Paul, instead, they dragged out Jason and some other Believers, and took them before the city council. These men are teaching there is another king, not Caesar, but a man named Jesus, they
shouted. The Believers explained the teaching, and the council could see that it was simply a case of the Synagogue leaders being upset about a new teaching. So they released Jason and the other Believers. How would you, or I explain the Kingship of Jesus?
