Sandals ready, my "walking with Jesus" friend? "The Apostles went throughout the towns and cities of Samaria, preaching the Gospel: God is holy. He loves you. He wants you to be with Him. He wants you to have an abundant, purposeful life. But "all have signed and come short of the glory of God."(Romans 3:23) What can wash away our sin? The sinless Christ died in payment for the sin of each person who will believe He IS the perfect Son of God. Will repent of His sin. And turn his life over to Jesus, whose resurrection from the dead demonstrates the power of God. In that way, we are "born anew to a living Hope..."(1 Peter 1:3a) "By FAITH you and I are saved, by grace, and that faith is the gift of God, not of works, lest any person should boast."( Ephesians 2:7-8) Having repented, been forgiven and believing in Jesus, we are enabled, by the grace of God, to " walk in newness of
life"(Romans 6:4) Altogether, THAT is salvation by grace and New Life in Christ, which is THE Good News. Tell someone who needs new life/new direction/needs to walk with the Lord!
