What did Jesus do after the intense confronting of the Pharisees and the agonizing lament over Jerusalem? What would YOU do, my "walking with Jesus" friend? Yes, they walked away from the temple. And as they walked, they talked. Matthew 24:1-2, reports:" And Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and his disciples came to him, pointing out the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, we see all these buildings now, but there is coming a time when not one stone shall be left upon another, but all shall be thrown down.' And as he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him in private saying: Tell us, when will this happen, what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered: 'Beware! Let no man deceive you. For many will claim to come in my name, saying:'I am the Christ'; and many people will be deceived." Watch out for
imposters. Jesus is saying that we MUST keep your spiritual sensors carefully tuned to the Lord, so that discernment will protect us from being led astray. Stay tuned for more of his wisdom about the times to come.
