Your thinking is backwards. And, you tell people that to aware by the altar is NOT binding, but, to sware, 'by the gifts ON the altar' IS binding. How BLIND can you be? Think about it: which is actually MORE important, the gift on the altar or, the altar that makes the gift sacred? Actually, when you sware by the altar, you are searing by it and everything on it...And when you sware/make an oath, ' By Heaven,' you are making an oath by
the throne of God and by God, who sits on the throne.' Clearly, Jesus is super aggravated at the Pharisees for having spiritually blind perceptions and priorities. Inspire OUR spirit to see You CLEARLY, Lord.
