We see that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, IS THE super "straight-shooter, my "walking with Jesus" friend.So, if/when the words of a man do NOT match his actions, Jesus is SURE to say something. ( Yes, a person who pretends to be better than he is, or who says one thing and does another is called a hypocrite. Jesus is into exposing the truth, so, watch out, you fancy religious people: Pharisees, Saducees, Scribes and High Priests, that have been throwing questions at Jesus. Are THEY hypocrites/pretenders? Matthew 23:1-5, reports: "Then Jesus spoke to the whole multitude and to His disciples, saying, "Think about it. The scribes and the Pharisees seat themselves as followers of the law of Moses. Whatever they tell you to do to keep the law, YOU do it. But THEY do NOT do it. Don't follow THEIR example. THEY put a heavy burden on YOU to keep every little rule and regulation, but THEY do
not lift a finger to follow the law. They make a big show of whatever they do, so people will notice them. Beware of them. They are hypocrites." Straight talk is refreshing!
