What did you do yesterday? my "walking with Jesus" friend. And what are you going to do today? And tomorrow? And would you and I be wise to ask the question, and pray: What is the WILL OF GOD for us to do, today, and tomorrow? In the Lord's Prayer, we say:" MAY Your WILL be done, Lord, on earth, even as it IS done in Heaven..." And Jesus made His position 100% CLEAR. He said:" For I came down from Heaven NOT to do My own will, BUT to DO THE WILL of Him who sent Me."(John 6:38)" And THIS is the Will of Him that sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son, and BELIEVES on Him, may have Everlasting Life, and I will raise him up at the last day."(John 6:40) Yes, John, chapter 6, has 71, verses. But, let's be encouraged to read that whole chapter today and be clear what IS the will of God, and be inspired to seek, find and follow the Will of God in our thinking, our choices, our actions! Can
we even imagine the great JOY of our Heavenly Father, in seeing us do His WILL, on earth, as it IS done in Heaven!!Jesus'JOY was in being obedient to the will of his Father.
