Do you know who did it? Yes, my "walking with Jesus" friend,God did it! He created time. When? On day four of Creation says Genesis 1:14. "Then God said, 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons and for days and years." OK, so, God, who created time IS in charge of time, and timing. Jesus Christ, the Son of God knows these fasts about time, and WE need to keep those facts in mind in order to correctly understand what Jesus teaches in Matthew 18:19-20. "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven." And, in John 14:14, Jesus tells His disciples:"If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 16:23b, Jesus says:"Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father IN MY NAME, He will give you." Now, that is
true. BUT, it's NOT like a light switch/ not instant. BECAUSE the timing is in the hands of the Lord AND the request MUST be within His will. Two friends and I prayed for a certain person to come to know Jesus as her Savior...Two years after we started praying, yes, she came to know Jesus. So, Pray right.. And be patient.
