Shall we pretend that it's Christmas time and there's a Christmas quiz. Ok, my "walking with Jesus" friend, here's the first question: Can you name the town where Jesus was born? Second question: Was there a prophecy about where he would be born? If yes, who declared the prophecy, and how long before Jesus was born?Answers: Born in Bethlehem. Yes, there was a prophecy about where he would be born. The prophet Micah, in about 730BC, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God, wrote:" But you, Bethlehem, although you are little among the clans of Judah, yet, out of you shall come the One for Me, who is to be Ruler in Israel. Whose existence has been from of old, from everlasting."(Micah 5:2) Seven hundred years before Jesus was born, through the prophet Micah, it was prophesied that the One God would send would be born in Bethlehem. And He WAS! The prophecy came true. We can depend
on all the prophecies of God (some say there are 1,000, of which 500, have already been fulfilled) to prove true. So, wouldn't we be wise to learn what prophesies are yet to be fulfilled, and how to prepare for what God has in store?
