How many keys do you carry around with you, my "walking with Jesus" friend? Each key gives access to something in particular. There's the house key, the car key, the mail box key...But, there are also invisible "keys." For example, someone may have taught you: "Hearts, like doors, open with ease to very, very simple KEYS, and two of these are:" Thank You" and: " If you Please." Jesus talks about invisible keys in Matthew 16:19. He has just told Peter (whose name meabs: rock) "You are Peter. And on this ROCK I will build MY church, and the gates of he'll shall not prevail against it." Now, Jesus says:" And I will give you the KEYS of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind(declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth, must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth, must be what is already loosed (declared lawful) in heaven." We remember
that Jesus taught his disciples to pray, Lord, " Your will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven."(Matthew 6:9-13) Knowing and doing the WILL OF GOD, these are the KEYS of the Kingdom of Heaven.
